Clifford the Star

At school I have been given my duffy book and it is called Clifford is a Star. I then read it and this is what it was about.

Clifford the big red dog, and Emily Elizabeth were best friends. They were such best friends that they did everything together. One day a man came over from Hollywood and said, "Clifford would you like to be in one of my movies".  Of course he said Yes. As Clifford left Emily Elizabeth waved good bye. Clifford was one of the Hollywood Stars. He felt happy ,until all his fans arrived. So Clifford wanted Peace and quite, but he always had to go to parties. When Emily Elizabeth was watching T.V and saw Clifford, he looked sad. The next day when Emily Elizabeth opened the door Clifford was right there. Now Clifford was really happy

First we were told to figure out what Scarcity, Abundance and Physical mean't. But as we did that
we were told to make a poster of one of the learning . This is what I made:

Positive Comments

We have been learning to write smart comments on other peoples blogs.  A smart comment is a positive, specific and  helpful. We have comments that are specifically about the post we have read.

We are creating positive digital footprints when we leave smart comments. We are Cyber smart.  Here is a screen shot of a comment I left on a blog. My comment is a smart comment because I have started with a greeting and ended with a question.

Mrs Richardson showed us all the symbols of Baptism. We talked about what they all meant and how they are used in a baptism ceremony. We had to pick one symbol. We went into Sumo Paint and created our own picture. This is my picture I created.

The Best Birthday

My cousin had a birthday throughout the holidays. He was turning seven. My sister,mum and me were decorating the room with balloons." The birthday boy is here"I said. First my auntie came in and said hello. Next the birthday boy came in with my uncle. "Come come" my sister said to my cousin. So along he came. "Wow" he shouted in a excited way. Next was the cake. Happy Birthday to you" we all sang. After everybody had cake we were all very full. "Don't forget the presents"shouted the birthday boy. As he opened them up I could see what they were. First was a lego game just right for him. Next was a really big water gun. "Thank you daddy" he said. They then left for home. I had a amazing time

We Are Learning about water

The type of water we are doing is to name facts about sea creators.

These are the facts me and my partner found:

1. Blue whales can grow more than 30 inches long

2. Turtles have hard shells to protect them

3. Compared to other creators dolphins are really intelligent

4. Dolphins use a blow hole on top to breath

5. Dolphins are carnivores

The Amazing Goals

WALT write goals to measure our learning

My goal for writing is to write ambitious vocabulary in my writing and checking my spelling. This is important because I can be able to write better and people out of this country can understand it. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be writing all the time at school and at home

My goal for Reading  is to understand the hard words that I don’t know. This is important because reading  helps me learn the hard words and I can always understand them. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be reading day and night with my homework or at school

My goal for Maths is improve my speed test every time I do it. This is important because I will get every answer right, by the time of 5 minutes and 30 seconds. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be doing my work at home without any help and get it checked.
